January 2, 2010 8:38 pm | #5You have a lot to learn!! Ask any professional Landscape photographer and you will find that they all use spot metering 99.9% of the time.
January 2, 2010 8:49 pm | #6that is important for landscape photography especially when it comes to film, but I find it a waste of time with digital, it is much quicker to use full metering, also this review is not for landscape photography but all forms of digital photography and it is for beginners. Just because I don’t do something your way or any other persons way doesn’t mean I have a lot to learn. What matters is what works for me not what works for others.

January 2, 2010 10:10 pm | #9as very informative. I’ve a D300 and always wondered if I was missing out on something by not changing the settings, but having seen your vid, it’s enlightened me a lot & like yourself, for now I will stick with using the average spot metering.
