I am on the edge of buying a budget dslr. I was wondering how were the pictures on this camera. I have heard this camera is just like a high end point and shoot but with a big lens. I am looking for a camera that takes dslr quality pictures. However, the HD video on this is really pushing me into getting this.Overall, is there a big difference between this and a dslr?
well, I don’t think so.. I have actually searched so many dslr cameras just before getting this. I am meant to be buying the Nikon P90 but eded up with this one instead because of it’s HD feature. Photo wise… it’s great.
This will produce great images for you. (Provided you learn how to use it) I seldom use my NIKON DSLR since I bought my SX10is. I’m upgrading now to get the HD video. The lens versatility alone is worth the money! Check the cost of SLR add on lenses. I’m a pro and I say it’s worth every cent. Mines on order!
