   i think that all brands are good depending on the camera you want i have an olympus fe 320 great camera because the zoom is smooth and the sound stays also it records hd as well

   There is a major problem with that Samsung NV24 HD camera. When you are recording a video while uzing the zoom the sound disappears periodically whenever you change the focus distance.I dont know why they ( Samsung company ) let this major problem. Maybe it is because otherwise that camera will be the best of its class.

   because than you will be hearing the motor of the zooming while recording…. i get 1hr 35min 720P on a 4GB card…
