    I can’t tell shit from this grainy video. Seems like an unfortunate mishap. Why does a guy just run over somebody for no apparent reason?What about the guy in the video walking across the street? He must have saw something.

    No reason would justify it. The cops have taken statements from a number of witnesses. So far every one I’ve heard condemns the driver of the black car.

    Review the Canadian laws on self defense. Too many people believe that self defense is an all inclusive do anything you want and still stay out of jail free card. It isn’t. Unprovoked? Self-defence against unprovoked assault34. (1) Every one who is unlawfully assaulted without having provoked the assault is justified in repelling force by force if the force he uses is not intended to cause death or grievous bodily harm and is no more than is necessary to enable him to defend himself.

    Again? There is no proof yet that Sheppard was physical with Bryant. When there is any, you will have a valid comment.You’ll have to consider the answer to those questions yourself. Whether Sheppard was in the right or not at that moment, all of the other events, before and after Sheppard approaching the car is a grievous wrong done by Bryant.

    That really was an accident. A careless accident where he said he wasn’t paying attention and ran a red light. Sounds like he took responsibility instantly. Hands up people. Does Bryant’s ramming of Sheppard look like an accident?

    You have no proof for anything that you say, its all supposition (imagination) following a very narrow train of thought. Since you are not actually responding to whole sentences, stop spamming this board.Your point that Sheppard “walking away would have solved everything” is a guess and not a fact. I “guess” that Bryant would have reversed, running over Sheppard again as he walked to the sidewalk… seems he had it out for the guy. Thanks for the defense advice pages.
