November 9, 2009 11:45 am | #1This is great quality! What’s the price for this bugger? Also, did it take long to upload this video and to work with the editing?
November 9, 2009 11:51 am | #2price 140-150 pounds sterling. You can instantly upload to computer and start editing. Software is built into camera or you can upload files to your own editing software. Very easy and in HD too.

November 9, 2009 2:17 pm | #7Aw. Thanks for that, I did have a good weekend.
I’m not sure how Vegas works, I use Premiere on PC and iMovie, or Final Cut on the mac. A general rule of thumb, if you can, it’s always best to set your project settings to the same as the native format your camera shoots in, this reduces decompression/recompression artifacts. Then, when you render out, for YouTube use the settings I described before. Data rate, use at least 3000Kbps. Keyframe every frame. Sorry for teccieness!
Good luck.
November 9, 2009 2:51 pm | #8Sorry, just one more thing. That camera shoots at 9000Kbps, or 9Mbps, so, if you want to preserve original quality after editing, you need to render out at that data rate. However, Youtube uses a much lower data rate, and you may find that at 9Mbps, your file is too big to upload to YouTube. I tend to render out at the higher rate for a video I want to keep for myself, and a lower one for YouTube. Hope that makes sense. It’s a bloomin’ minefield! I’ll shut up now.
November 9, 2009 3:18 pm | #9As you’ve had a bit of time since the video was posted any more thoughts ? Just ask as I’m looking into buying one.
