if you drive around croydon today, its a giant panoptic prison. Cameras watch everywhere you go, drive in a bus lane, put a wheel over the wrong white line, etc. and you get a fine a week later. Its creepy.I hate the way the beeb make out like its our choicethose 4 fake emails at the end there, 3 in favour of it

Welcome to Modern Britain where freedom and liberty comes last. What a scary place to be these day. Even scarier is how we have rolled over and accepted this surveillance culture. Noticibly abscent in defending our freedoms are our elected politicians? Why is this?I read that Croydon has more CCTV cameras than New York.I can’t beleive this is happening to Britian today. The old east germans are more free than we are. Our freedoms are dying and no one cares. I despair of the UK today.
