As robertsdoug said, it only has 22 channels. The privacy codes only tell the radio when to break squelch. So if you transmit on say, Channel 22 with privacy code 82, then anyone else on channel 22 will be heard if they are transmiting at the same time because squelch is broken.

22 channels with 100 sub channels equals 22 hundred channels, not 22 thousand. If you are that stupid why would anyone buy anything from you?

Umm, no.It has 22 channels with 100 privacy codes.100 people cannot be talking on the same channel at once, even with different privacy codes. Privacy codes are just a way of filtering out others.
