December 29, 2009 1:03 am | #5Got mine in the post this morning. I havn’t had chance to test it in the field yet but I’ve been messing about in doors and the low light shots are fantastic!!! If they ever manage to improve on this we wont be needing flashguns anymore lol. Awesome camera!
December 29, 2009 1:32 am | #6If you have a 300mm lens on the camera, why would you turn the APS mode on to get a ‘450mm’ lens? couldn’t you just crop the image from full frame?
December 29, 2009 2:03 am | #7so your old DX lenses work on the new Film FX sensor
December 29, 2009 2:51 am | #8yes. but trying to imagine what that crop is going to look like, and then actually cropping it (whilst wasting space on your card for all the extra image you won’t need) as well as not being able to use a DX lens if you need to, is a bit of a pain in the arse. Then again if you’re spending £4000 why would you bother with APS?
December 29, 2009 3:07 am | #9Thanks for correctly pronouncing the word Nikon!
