I also started with RC Onboard Video using a CVS. Have you checked out the new versions (the PureDigital “Flip” line)? Even the lowest price unit is a huge improvement on the CVS. And the Ultra 2GB camcorders are great! Better resolution, less compression, better night sensitivity, a/v output, built-in USB connector, onboard software, and much more flight time in the highest resolution (up to an hour, vs. the CVS’s 10 minutes at high res). But I still use my CVS when I’m “crazy flying”!

yo i just wanted to say that im a pilot of rc planes and i thaught that this vidio was very good because your flying was very smooth and u can c very well. alot of on borard vidios i have watched the pilot turns so fast u cant even see good job!

Yeah. I’ve seen too many of those videos as well so I paid particular attention to not doing that. No wind + high exponential + long slow turns is the key for me.
