Yes. you can use a standard security cam if you have a video card or video capture device that has the same imputs as the cams output. You cam also buy several usb security cams now. A few even offer pan, tilt, and zoom functions that can be run from anywhere via a browser.
you sure can. for about 150-200 bucks you can have a system to where you can monitor your home even when you are away and have access to the internet.
