I’ve owned a Canon Digital Rebel xti for a few years. Recently, none of the lenses I use will autofocus on my camera. I can still manually focus. I believe there is a problem with the camera (sensor or the metal outcroppings that the lens’ hook to) because a family member has the same model I do, and all of my lenses work on their xti and none of their lenses work on my xti.

Any idea what it could be, and how much it may cost to get it fixed?

I just bought a Canon EOS Rebel Xsi from an online retailer. The problem is that it didn’t come with any sort of warranty. There was no warranty card in the box, so I think that it might be gray market. Does Canon honor the limited warranty, as long as I have the receipt of purchase? Also is there any way to tell if the camera I bought is gray market or not?
