How do I get the footage off of my sony vx1000 camera to my macbook?

I am looking into buying a Sony VX1000 and I’m wondering if I can get the footage off of the camera onto my mac book so I can edit it. And if I can how do I do this?

What kind of camera do I use to get the footage onto my computer while it is recording?

I am buying equipment for paranormal investigations. In the ghost hunting shows such as Destination Truth, they have some cameras that record while they are watching it at base camp. What kind of camera is that? Do I need software? HELP!
Would also help if you know where to get it for cheap.
NVM doesn’t have to be cheap! Whats it called and who makes them?

What kind of camera is best for horse-y footage and pictures?

The camera I have now is and old Kodak and it doesn’t take very good pictures or videos. Inside the barn isn’t terribly dark, but it’s not super bright and my camera makes everything look really dark anyway. If you zoom in while taking a video, it speeds up that part of the footage. What’s a reasonably priced video camera[that also takes pictures? (:] that is good for what I need it for?

What kind of camera should I use for recording high quality stock footage?

Hi,

I’m trying to start recording some stock footage to sell, and I’d want to know EXACTLY what would be the best camera for the job. I’m a novice at video cameras, but the business of stock footage is easy for me to, and it offers a lot of money for someone like me. So what would be the best camera for recording different locales and objects? I’m planning on doing scenery and landscape shots, and detailed, magnified shots of random objects. So what would be good for that?
