so my friend had a dfferent camera that was taking pics underwater without a case or anything. My casio camera has the underwater feature on it but does it need a case? i dont want to ruin my cmera.

The man at the store told me it might be grainy, or have to small a picture–I found this a little hard to believe since it is 5 megapixels. I might go back tomorrow to buy it, but I need other opinions–does anyone out there have a similar camera–what do you think? I dont really want to buy a more expensive camera as I dont use cameras very often. Thank you for your help. I appreciate all answers. Regular price is 130 dollars.

How do I go about doing this with digital cameras? I have a regular film camera (Pentax k1000), But I would really like to avoid the hassle of processing infrared film. I also would rather not send out my SLR camera and have it altered to an infrared camera because it is the only one I use. Is there any (gasp) photo editing software that can change your photos to infrared?

I was looks at my neighbors digital cameras and I saw this one, and I couldnt figure out how to take a picture with it. I dont really want to ask them for pride reasons(they think I’m really good with electronics) so I was wondering if anyone here knows how? I tried working it like a regular camera, but hitting the capture button dosent do anything. I read reviews and it said the camera was crap but they all seemed to know how to take a picture.

I have used film cameras all my life and am fond of Leica 35mm photograph, also Nikon. I read the online digital camera reviews and want to make the jump to digital soon. Image quality is my highest priority. Don’t want to spend 4 or 5K but will consider a medium price range up to 2K or so. What do you recommend for pure image quality? Am expert in Photoshop and am able to interpret and improve images.
Zoom lens power is not of much interest to me. I am looking for a lens that has the clarity, contrast and focus of a 35mm glass camera lens. Thank you.
