I don’t know why, but when I went to import a video onto my PC, it would connect, but then just sit there and nothing would happen. I’ve imported things before (including videos), and it would always work. I don’t know why it’s suddenly doing this. And the video’s not in the files or anything, so I know it’s not working. I’m not very computer savvy so I don’t really understand why this is going on. Can anyone help? Thanks, it’s appreciated.

I have about $300 to spend on a new digital camera. I’m looking at either the Canon SD1000 or the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX12K. I really just want something fast, good quality pictures, and a durable camera I can carry in my pocket. Crazy camera modes are also desirable.
Does anyone have either of these cameras who can tell me which one to go with?

I have an canon camera now (a elph), it’s a few years old and I would like to upgrade. I’m not an expert photographer but I would like to start taking some nice pictures of wildlife. For this I am looking for a camera with somewhere around 10x optical zoom.
Canon has one, but I have read you have to wait around 10 seconds between taking pictures when you use the flash. I don’t like that. Plus it is a little bigger than your typical small digital camera.
I saw panasonic has a camera with 10x optical zoom and it is smaller. It received some really good reviews on the circuit city website. I have never heard much about a panasonic camera, are they good? Do they take good pictures? I have always had a canon and been in love with it, but they just dont seem to have a good canon camera for what I’m looking for (10x optical zoom).
Can anyone give me their opinions on these types of cameras or possibly other brands of cameras that have good optical zoom capabilities?

I still want a smaller “point and shoot” camera. That is why I am not looking at SLR cameras. I want the best of both worlds.

I’m a beginner photographer and have a Panasonic DMC-TZ3 digital camera. I would like to be able to take some better shots (ex: making waterfalls milkier, and making the area behind a subject out of focus)and was wondering if there is a way to change the f-number on a camera like this. Or can you only do things like that on more high-tech cameras?

my camera….definitely wasnt cheap. it takes amazing pictures outside and in well lit situations. the details in pictures taken in the macro setting zoomed in on stuff really closely is nice too. But inside…i cannot get it to focus at all, and the pictures are always really grainy, and usually crappy. and the flash…is really unnecessary sometimes.
can someone help me? i liked my film camera so much better. this one is just confusing.

I plan to purchase a digital camera. In the past I owned Nikons and canon and this time I want to use Panasonic.

I need that the picture qualities be the best and there should be ease of handling and maximum wide angle and photo quality maintained at high zoom. I do not care about the digital zoon.
I need to click pictures of our baby and indoor photos. Basically I need something that is more sophisticated than point and shoot but not as expensive as the digital slr’s.
I am tending towards the DMCFZ28S however when I see that the TZ5A has many more features. I am not able to figure out what good features is the DMCFZ28S missing. Secondly I am not able to see Panasonic cameras in any of the stores.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28S 10.1-Megapixel Digital Camera does have a view finder. I checked reviews on amazon and everybody seems to love the panasonic. The night shots in nikon coolpix where not that great. I liked the cannon but now I want to have a different one. I dont seem to like the sony
