i have 7 olympus slr lenses, and ive just changed to sony alpha slr. is there anyway to use olympus lenses on my sony camera? like an adapter or someting like that?

I am looking to purchase a digital camera for an upcoming trip and consumerreports.org recommended the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX30K (Top 3 choice); it has received a lot of reviews, but according to Circuit City it has been discontinued. Their next suggestion is the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80; which is comparable to the Panasonic, but it does not have a wide angle lens.
I am leaning heavily toward the Panasonic model; but I wanted to get an opinion or two from people who might know something about these models or subcompact cameras in general.
Quick background: Small photography background, would use camera for social events and trips.

I am looking into getting a new camera, and I want a very nice, sleek, good digital camera. Well, I’ve come down to either the Nikon Coolpix S3000 or the Sony Cyber-shot W310. Which brand do you prefer? I’m leaning towards the Nikon camera, but I wanna know your opinion

I wanna know of all the Sony Handycam Camcorders with the nightshot feature, which one is overall the best in your experience? Which one has the best focus/image quality/performance? Right now I have a DCR-SR45 and it has good nightvision, but it has autofocus problems and the image quality is a little grainy so I’m thinking about upgrading. I only use it in the dark so I just need to know how they perform with Nightshot on.

Recently i bought a new sony handy camera model no. DCR HC28E . how do i connect my device onto the computer.. i got a cable for connecting it to a tv and a usb cable but i can’t find any usb port in the device and i didn’t get any software cd. What should be done now. please help…

A long time a go, summer 2008, my dad used my camera on the beach and kept it in this water proof pouch & it made the screen foggy & the camera didnt work for awhile, then it eventually dried up & worked perfectly fine & dandy. So up till now, feb 2009, it worked great.
then my camera randomly stopped working & i charged both batteries, & haven’t dropped the camera or batteries yet. What do i do?? How can i fix it without going to the store?

I have a Sony DSC-w290 digital camera. I filmed a short video clip and, when I put the file on my computer, it has a huge watermark right in the middle saying “evaluation copy.” It doesn’t show up when I view the video on the camera, just on the computer. I ran it thorugh a couple different converters and video players, but it was still there. How do I get rid of it?

I just got a new Sony DSLR A200W and I’m clueless on how to clean it. my friend says i can buy a cloth for the camera lens. So i was asking him if i use the spectacle cloth we use to clean our glasses would be able to clean the camera but he is not sure. What do you suggest i do? any extra information on cleaning the rest of the camera part is good to know too(:
