I’m in the market or a new camera and i would like to move up to a dslr. Im a nikon person and ive had extensive use with d40’s d50’s and a d200 but am completely oblivious to the d60 and d80. Which camera would you you suggest, im not a begginer but im not profesional or anything.

Can some DSLR cameras accept processing film, like what you would use in a normal SLR type camera?

I was just curious if there are some DSLR cameras that accept film that you can then bring to a pharmacist etc. to get developed (Like an SLR)
Or are they all simply just cameras where you take the photo and then it’s placed onto a memory card inside it?

Im really excited to see the Nikon is having a new SLR coming out soon (the D3000) but just wondering why its sooo cheap. On Amazon its $599. I kind of like the D60 as well.

I’m a college student looking for a great video camera and a pretty decent video program for editing videos?? College student=Short on cash. My major is going to be in Mass Communications and I’m looking for an excellent program and nice camera. Do you have any recommendations? Which is better one of the DV cams or one that uses dvds? What 35mm dslr camera would you recommend for a beginner. I’m not concerned about price, just quality and something that doesn’t have way more than what I need..this will just be a hobby and I can always upgrade down the road if it turns into more. If you could tell me what it is you like about your recommendation, that would be great too. Thanks in advance…

I currently have a Sony Cybershot (older model). It was my FIRST digital camera ever, and now that I am more intuned with photography I want to pursue it more seriously.
I’m looking for an SLR camera with a wide range of abilities, different lense options and filters. Video capability isnt necessary, but I want to have the ability to take high quality photos, with different shutter speeds etc, etc.
All of this for a reasonable price…as it won’t be the only camera I’m looking into purchasing.

My cousin and I are making a short film, but we live 600 miles away from each other. Instead of the film taking the whole summer I would like to work on part of it here. I am looking for a camera that has good picture quality, big screen, can connect to a computer and has a reasonable price. Can anyone help me on this?
